CFI is a Colorado Not-for-Profit organization whose programs are primarily in-depth, outdoor activities developed to complement those of the Institute's partners that include Rio Grande National Forest & SLV BLM, San Luis Valley National Wildlife Refuges Complex, Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve, Adams State College Foundation, the Nature Conservancy’s Medano/Zapata Ranch, SLV Heritage Tourism Group, and Los Caminos Antiguos.
